Before you travel

We want each journey to be straightforward and transparent. Please read these terms and review the specific details shared with you when your booking is confirmed. If you have any questions about a quoted fare, included charges or cancellation arrangements, contact us before making payment.

Important: Booking-specific terms

Exact fares, included expenses, advance payments, cancellation fees, refund timeframes and waiting allowances are not fixed by this page. They should be clearly agreed for each booking. This page does not override rights provided by applicable Indian law.

01

Acceptance and scope

Who these terms apply to

These Terms & Conditions apply to enquiries and taxi bookings arranged through Crownline Cabs by phone, WhatsApp or the website. They cover local journeys, one-way transfers, round trips, airport transfers and other agreed road journeys.

Agreement

By requesting or confirming a booking, the customer acknowledges these terms together with the specific fare, itinerary and conditions communicated at booking. Where a confirmed booking expressly specifies a different arrangement, that confirmed arrangement applies to that journey.

Availability

Submitting a request does not guarantee a vehicle. A booking is confirmed only after Crownline Cabs accepts the request and communicates the trip details.

02

Booking and confirmation

Information to provide

Customers should provide accurate pickup and drop locations, travel date and time, contact number, passenger count, luggage requirements, requested vehicle category and any special stops or accessibility needs.

Confirmation details

Before travel, check the confirmed route, dates, pickup point, vehicle category, agreed fare, inclusions, exclusions and payment arrangements. Notify us promptly of any discrepancy.

Changes to bookings

Requests to change pickup, destination, timing, stops, passenger count or vehicle type are subject to availability and may change the fare. Changes become effective only after we confirm them.

03

Fares and quotations

How fares are quoted

Fares depend on route, trip type, vehicle category, duration, distance, season, availability and special requirements. A displayed or verbal estimate is not a final price unless confirmed for that booking.

What may be excluded

Unless expressly included in the confirmed quote, tolls, parking, entry permits, state taxes, airport access charges, additional kilometres or hours, extra stops, driver allowance and other incidental charges may be payable separately.

Changes in scope

Additional distance, extended usage, detours, waiting time or a changed itinerary may lead to extra charges. Customers should ask for a revised estimate before approving changes.

04

Payments and receipts

Payment method

Accepted payment methods and any advance amount will be communicated during booking confirmation. Do not send money to an unverified number or payment account.

Advance and balance

If an advance is agreed, the amount, due date and how it is adjusted against the total fare should be stated in the booking confirmation. The balance is payable as agreed for that journey.

Proof of payment

Retain payment references and receipts. Contact Crownline Cabs promptly if a payment appears incorrect or duplicated.

05

Cancellation, no-show and refunds

Customer cancellation

Tell us as early as possible if you need to cancel. Any cancellation fee or deduction must follow the cancellation conditions communicated and accepted for your specific booking, subject to applicable law.

Refund handling

If a refund is due, its amount, payment route and expected processing period will be communicated after review of the booking and payments. Bank or payment-provider processing may take additional time.

No-show or delayed arrival

If a passenger is not reachable or fails to arrive at the agreed pickup point, the trip may be treated as a no-show after reasonable attempts to contact them. Any related charge is subject to the confirmed booking conditions.

Operator cancellation

If Crownline Cabs cannot fulfil a confirmed booking, we will inform the customer and discuss an alternative vehicle, revised arrangement or applicable refund. No replacement is guaranteed.

06

Pickup, waiting and airport transfers

Pickup coordination

Customers should be ready at the agreed location and time, keep their phone reachable and share clear pickup instructions when necessary.

Waiting time

Complimentary waiting, if any, and any additional waiting charges should be confirmed for the trip. Traffic, security checks and access restrictions may affect pickup times.

Flights and trains

Provide correct flight or train details when relevant and inform us about delays, early arrivals or cancellations. Pickup changes depend on driver availability and may involve revised charges.

Travel times

Arrival and travel-time estimates are indicative. Traffic, weather, road closures, checkpoints and other circumstances may cause delays.

07

Vehicle category and substitutions

Vehicle type

Vehicle photographs are illustrative. Bookings are generally for a confirmed category (such as sedan, SUV or Innova Crysta) rather than a particular registration number, colour or model year unless specifically agreed.

Substitution

If the requested vehicle is unavailable, an alternative may be proposed. Any material change in category or price should be discussed with the customer before proceeding.

Capacity

Passenger and luggage limits must follow the vehicle’s legal capacity and safety requirements. Extra passengers cannot be carried beyond permitted seating.

08

Passenger conduct and safety

Safe travel

Seat belts should be worn where provided and required. Passengers must follow lawful driver instructions and must not interfere with driving.

Prohibited conduct

Illegal activity, harassment, threats, violence, damage to the vehicle and carrying prohibited or dangerous items are not permitted. Service may be refused or ended where necessary for safety or legal compliance.

Children and special needs

Customers should disclose child-seat, accessibility, mobility or other special needs before booking so availability and suitability can be discussed. Do not assume specialised equipment is supplied unless confirmed.

Smoking and cleanliness

Smoking or other conduct that damages or excessively soils the vehicle may result in cleaning or repair charges where properly documented and legally recoverable.

09

Baggage, valuables and lost property

Baggage

Disclose bulky or unusual luggage before booking. Items must fit safely without obstructing the driver’s view, passenger exits or legal loading limits.

Personal belongings

Customers are responsible for keeping valuables, identification, tickets, medicines and electronics secure. Check the vehicle before leaving.

Lost items

Report missing belongings promptly with trip details. We can help contact the driver, but recovery cannot be guaranteed. Any return arrangements and reasonable costs should be agreed in advance.

10

Routes, stops and outstation travel

Route selection

The driver may adjust the route for safety, traffic, restrictions or road conditions. Requested detours and additional stops may affect time and price.

One-way trips

One-way bookings cover the agreed origin and destination, with inclusions defined by the confirmed quote. Extra waiting or intermediate travel is not automatically included.

Round trips and multi-day travel

Confirm daily usage, overnight stays, driver allowances, kilometre or hour limits, parking and return dates before travel.

Local packages

Local bookings may have specified hour and kilometre limits. Overtime, excess distance and additional expenses are governed by the confirmed package terms.

11

Delays, disruptions and unforeseen events

External conditions

Road closures, floods, extreme weather, public restrictions, strikes, breakdowns or other events outside reasonable control can affect service.

Breakdowns and emergencies

If a vehicle becomes unusable, we will attempt reasonable coordination or an alternative where feasible. Customers should follow local emergency guidance if immediate safety assistance is needed.

Service limitations

No particular arrival time or uninterrupted journey is guaranteed where external conditions intervene. Any rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

12

Website, WhatsApp and communications

Booking enquiries

Website forms and WhatsApp links initiate enquiries; they do not by themselves create a confirmed booking. Confirmed details should be retained by the customer.

Contact permissions

By providing a contact number for a booking, customers agree to receive communications necessary to respond to, arrange and manage that booking. Promotional communications, if any, should follow applicable consent requirements.

Website content

Website images, descriptions and route examples are informational and may be updated. Errors or outdated details should be clarified before payment.

13

Privacy and information handling

Information used

Booking arrangements may require names, phone numbers, pickup/drop locations, travel dates, vehicle preferences and payment references.

Purpose

This information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange rides, coordinate drivers, handle payments, resolve issues and meet legal obligations.

Privacy questions

Contact us to ask how your booking information is handled or to request correction of inaccurate information, subject to applicable law. A separate privacy policy may provide further details.

14

Complaints, liability and legal rights

Customer support

For billing disputes, vehicle concerns, driver behaviour, cancellations or lost property, contact us with the booking date, route and relevant evidence.

Liability

Responsibility for loss, delay or damage depends on the circumstances, the confirmed booking and applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are intended to operate under applicable Indian law. Dispute resolution and court jurisdiction remain subject to mandatory legal rules and consumer protections.

Updates

These terms may be revised. The version applicable to a confirmed booking should be the one communicated or made available at the time of confirmation, unless a later change is agreed or required by law.
